Conservatives Are Liberal, and Liberals Are Conservativeon the Environment

Most differences between conservatives and liberals stem from differing beliefs about tradition and human nature. When it comes to environmental policy, however, conservatives and liberals reverse their approaches and adopt positions at odds with their fundamental values.
