In response to China’s military exercises in the South China Sea, the US is sending aircraft carriers to China’s sphere of influence. China is claiming the South China as theirs and has fortified the area with weapons. The Philippines and Vietnam and other countries are protesting China’s actions and China’s claim to 90% of the South China Sea.
