Peter Gordon

Peter Gordon is a Research Fellow at the Independent Institute and Professor of Policy, Planning and Development at the University of Southern California (USC). He is also attached to USCs Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorist Events. Professor Gordon received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He has published numerous articles in scholarly urban-planning, urban-transportation, and urban-economics journals. His books include The Independent Institute volume, The Voluntary City: Choice, Community and Civil Society (edited with David Beito and Alexander Tabarrok), The Economic Impacts of Terrorist Attacks (edited with Harry W. Richardson and James E. Moore II), and The Economic Costs and Consequences of Economic Terrorism (edited with Harry W. Richardson and James E. Moore II).
