The Social Media Manager/Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing Independents social media program, providing an exceptional experience for those who visit Independents social media sites. The Manager contributes to the development and implementation of Independents Strategic Plan and the departments operational plan. The Manager is responsible for Independents social media plan, strategy, related organic and paid campaigns, messaging, calendars, and schedules for this work.
The Independent Institute is seeking talented individuals to lead Independents outward-facing promotion (apart from fundraising). The leadership team in this area develops and implements all marketing and social media plans and campaigns. The aim is to widen and deepen the audience for Independents ideas and publications, and to increase sales. Opportunities may be available at various levels, depending on the experience of the candidates.
The Managing Editor is responsible for publications production, including overseeing the work of designers, copyeditors, proofreaders, indexers, and printers involved in the publishing of books, e-books, audio books, journals, newsletters, white papers, and other items distributed by the Institute.
