The White House revels in the success of Operation Absolute Resolve, through which Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro was whisked to the United States. The attack involved over 150 aircraft and Delta Force commandos.
When challenged on why the president did not seek congressional approval for the military action, Secretary of State Marco Rubio averred that Operation Absolute Resolve was a law enforcement operation. Agents served an arrest warrant, read Maduro Miranda warnings and escorted him to New York. Nothing here to see. Move along.
