Bear Bryant (the renowned University of Alabama football coach) once said, “You can’t ask a kid to do what he can’t do.” Maybe it’s time for Republican voters to accept Bryant’s wisdom in thinking about their own elected representatives. Forget profiles in courage. The people you voted into office are just not up to the job.

It’s been five years since ObamaCare was enacted and in all that time the Republicans in Congress have been unable to propose a single credible alternative to it. Forget the complicated details. Our Republican representatives have been unable to even give us a vision of what a conservative health care system would look like. Is it really that hard? One thing is for sure. It’s a task that the people you voted for are not up to.
