Challenge of Liberty Seminars
2015 Schedule:
June 1–5: Colorado Christian University, Denver - Near Capacity
June 8–12: University of Colorado, Boulder - Spaces Available
July 6–10: University of California, Berkeley - Near Capacity

Applications will remain open until seminars have reached capacity.
Each seminar location can host up to 50 students.

To attend the Challenge of Liberty, please complete the application below.

Students between the ages of 18-35 who are enrolled in an college or university in Spring or Fall 2015 are eligible to apply for the Challenge of Liberty summer seminars.

After your application has been submitted, Independent Institute staff will contact you regarding the status of your application within 30 days.

Application Information

Before you start the application please read the information below:

Students between the ages of 18-35 who are enrolled in an academic institution in Spring or Fall 2015 are eligible to apply for the Challenge of Liberty.


Accepted applicants to the Colorado Challenge of Liberty will be granted a scholarship* to attend.

Students applying for the California Challenge of Liberty may request scholarship* funding or apply and pay tuition.** 

International students are responsible for obtaining their own visa.

After you have completed and submitted your application, you will receive information regarding the status of your attendance within 30 days.


Tuition & Scholarship Information:
Tuition or scholarship funding covers lodging, meals, events, and seminar materials for five days and four nights. 

2015 Challenge of Liberty Tuition............... $395.00

Participants are responsible for their transportation to and from the seminar.
*Scholarships DO NOT cover travel expenses. 

**Students who choose to pay full tuition must fill out the application to be accepted to the program. 

Application Deadline:
Applications will remain open until seminars have reached capacity. Each seminar location can host up to 50 students. 

Cancelations/ Withdraw of Application:

After acceptance, any application withdrawn within 30 days prior to the event will be subject to a cancellation fee of $100.
