Entrepreneurship and Growth: A Latin American Paradox?

Latin America has high levels of entrepreneurship but only mediocre rates of economic growth, which by most accounts is a paradox. The paradox vanishes when one grasps that the region’s low levels of economic freedom have both spurred entrepreneurs and undermined their productivity.
