Abstract
On Nozick, Edward Fesers excellent new primer on Anarchy, State, and Utopia (1974), puts Nozicks classic of political philosophy in historical perspective and relates it to other libertarian rights theories. Although it glosses over several nuances of Nozicks theory and occasionally fails to state when a point is Fesers own, these imperfections pale before the books virtuesits accuracy, insightfulness, and uncommonly sympathetic (but not uncritical) enthusiasm for Nozicks enterprise.
