Caleb Petitt is a Research Fellow at the Independent Institute. He has a PhD in economics from George Mason University, he is an Adam Smith Program Fellow, and an F.A. Hayek fellow at the Mercatus Center. His research interests include history of economic thought and the historical political economy of colonial American trade and taxation.
