Television personality John Stossel (host of Stossel on Fox Business) featured our new satirical, YouTube video series—Love Gov: "From First Date to Mandate"— on September 25th, 2015.

Research Fellow Stephen P. Halbrook, author of "Gun Control in the Third Reich" appears on the Larry Elder radio show on Oct. 9, 2015. Halbrook talks about the remarks made by presidential candidate Ben Carson about gun control and the holocaust and how dictators take guns first. Carson’s remarks were rebuked by mainstream media, but historians such as Halbrook set the record strait on the history of gun control in Europe leading up to World War II and the holocaust.

McQuillan describes his book’s recommendation that public employees should move to 401(k) type retirement plans in order to avoid bankrupting municipalities that may reduce pension payments to retirees, due to poor public money management decisions.

Love Gov portrays the federal government as an overbearing boyfriend — Scott “Gov” Govinsky — who foists his "good intentions" on a hapless, idealistic college student, Alexis. Each episode follows Alexis's relationship with Gov as his intrusions wreak (comic) havoc on her life, professionally, financially, and socially. Alexis's loyal friend Libby tries to help her see Gov for what he really is — a menace. But will Alexis come to her senses in time? Tune in to find out!
