Kevin D. Vallier is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Bowling Green State University. His authored books include Illiberal Perfectionism, Trust in a Polarized Age, Liberal Politics and Public Faith: Beyond Separation and Must Politics Be War? In Defense of Public Reason Liberalism, and he is the editor of Public Reason and Diversity: Reinterpretations of Liberalism, Social Trust, A New Theist Response to the New Atheists, Political Utopias: Promise or Peril? and Religious Exemptions. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Arizona.
