June 26–30, 2017: Santa Clara, California

Each summer the Challenge of Liberty Seminar explores the origins and ramifications of liberty. By learning the ethical and economic principles of free societies, students put themselves on a path to a life of liberty in pursuit of the good. Are you up to the challenge?

Students will spend five days in the heart of Silicon Valley absorbing lectures, digesting readings, and building their network with breakout sessions and social events. Throughout, students will have access to leading scholars enhancing their week-long journey. This journey starts with the foundations of liberty in Western Civilization and the moral, historical, legal, and economic framework of liberty. To learn more about specific topics covered, check out the curriculum page.
