Estonia and Finland, Updated

If fifty years of Communist rule held back Estonia relative to neighboring Finland, then Communism’s overthrow should have helped close the gap. In fact, seventeen years after shaking off the Soviet yoke, Estonia is catching up on several indicators of economic and demographic performance.
