Since the tax to enforce Obamacare’s individual mandate is now gone, the entire healthcare law is unconstitutional, U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor ruled last month. Those on the left who claim the Constitution goes against the judge’s ruling would be far more convincing if they didn’t turn themselves inside out to evade a clear constitutional mandate when it suited them. Six states have “red flag” laws, which make it easier to issue a restraining order barring a person’s access to firearms. Twenty-two additional states are considering adopting such restrictions, and a bipartisan coalition in Congress supports a federal version.
