Thomas E. Borcherding

Thomas E. Borcherding is Professor of Economics at Claremont Graduate University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Duke University and he has held faculty positions at the University of Virginia, University of Washington, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Simon Fraser University, and University of Toronto.

Professor Borcherding has been Co-Editor of Economic Inquiry, a contributor to numerous volumes, and the author of The Egg Marketing Board: A Case Study of Monopoly and Its Social Costs. His article and reviews have appeared in such scholarly journals as the American Economic Review, Economica, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Public Choice, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Law and Economics, National Tax Journal, University of Toronto Law Journal, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Economic and Monetary Affairs, Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence, European Journal of Political Economy, American Journal of Economics and Sociology, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Public Finance Review, American Political Science Review, Journal of Economic Literature, Kyklos, and The Independent Review.
