Parth J. Shah is President of the Centre for Civil Society in New Delhi, India, and a member of the editorial boards of Education World, Vishleshan, and Khoj.

Dr. Shah has organized liberal educational programs for the Indian youth including Liberty & Society Seminars, Jeevika Livelihood Documentary Competition, and Researching Reality Internship Program.
