Ron Paul

Ron Paul is the U.S. Congressman who enjoys a national reputation as the premier advocate for liberty in politics today. A two-time presidential candidate, Dr. Paul is the leading spokesman in Washington for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, non-interventionist foreign policy, and a return to sound monetary policies based on commodity-backed currency. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s and then as a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology in private medical practice.

Congressman Paul represents the 14th Congressional District of Texas and serves as a member of the House Financial Services Committee, International Relations Committee, and Joint Economic Committee. On the Financial Services Committee, Rep. Paul serves as the Vice-chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, and he has served as a member of the House Banking Committee and was a key member of the U.S. Gold Commission.

Dr. Paul is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling book Revolution: A Manifesto plus the books, The Case for Gold, Freedom Under Siege: The U.S. Constitution After 200 Years, Pillars of Prosperity, Mises and Austrian Economics, Gold, Peace and Prosperity, and A Republic, If You Can Keep It. He is the Founder of the Foundation for Rational Economics and Education, Honorary Chair of the Republican Liberty Caucus and a Member of the Congressional Wildlife Refuge Caucus and Congressional Rural Caucus.
