Research Fellow David Beito, co-author of T.R.M. Howard: Doctor, Entrepreneur, Civil Rights Pioneeris interviewed on the Lars Larson radio show. Beito talks about T.R.M Howard, the civil rights pioneer who remains unknown to many until now. Howard was a Renaissance Man who succeeded in business, was a big game hunter, hosted parties with celebrity guests, and influenced more well-known civil rights leaders in the south during the 1950s. Howard's flamboyant life is chronicled in the new book, which is co-authored by Linda Royster Beito.
