Holcombe discusses President Obama’s push for shorter prison sentences and why the move is a mistake. The war on drugs has been waged for 35 years. Drugs are impossible to control and their use should not be illegal, according to Holcombe. Transactions among consenting adults shouldn’t be prosecuted, he says.
