Environmental protection�of clean air and water, endangered species and natural beauty�has been a top public concern since the first Earth Day. However, the history of government environmental regulation and resource management shows that good intentions do not guarantee good results. Are there alternatives to bureaucratic failure? What about private conservation and market-based incentives? At this event Peter Huber and Michael de Alessi debated how to best save the environment.
