Wendy M. Novicoff
Wendy M. Novicoff is Assistant Professor of Health Evaluation Sciences in the School of Medicine and Director in the Quality/Performance Improvement Program with the Health System at the University of Virginia. She received her Ph.D. in program evaluation and statistics from University of Virginia. Professor Novicoff’s primary research interests are health services research, outcomes evaluation, and hospital/health system data quality and integrity.

She has spoken about her research efforts in several venues, including academic conferences and industry meetings. Her scholarly articles have appeared in Environ Health Perspect, International Journal of Biometeorology, Climate Research, Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society, and American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Professor Novikoff has been a Member of the Board of Directors of Women’s Health Virginia and Study Group 4 for Empirical Approaches in Human Biometeorology of the International Society of Biometeorology, and she has completed research for the American Diabetes Association, Department of Medical Assistance Services of the Commonwealth of Virginia, U.S. Department of Commerce, Texas Quality Health Alliance, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Virginia Department of Health.
