Eric Crampton is Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Canterbury. He received his Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University, he is Research Associate at the New Zealand Institute for the Study of Competition and Regulation, and he has been Senior Fellow for the Center for European Integration Studies at the University of Bonn.
A contributor to numerous scholarly volumes, he is the author of articles in the Review of Austrian Economics, Encyclopedia of Law and Society, Constitutional Political Economy, The Independent Review, New Zealand Medical Journal, and Journal of Private Enterprise. His popular articles have appeared in Forbes, Foreign Policy, Christchurch Press, Canberra Times, Policy, and Food Industry Week, and he blogs at Offsetting Behavior.
