Michael Reksulak is a Research Fellow at The Independent Institute and an associate professor of economics at Georgia Southern University. He studied at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (Germany) and the University of Kent at Canterbury (England) before receiving his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Mississippi. He has also worked as a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Economics. A prolific writer, Professor Reksulak has published more than 90 columns since 2006. His scholarly articles have appeared in Public Choice, Southern Economic Journal, Theory and Decision, Economics and Politics, Constitutional Political Economy, and Public Finance and Management.
