Educated at Cambridge University (Ph.D.), the London School of Economics (MSc.), and the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A.), Dr. Stephen M. Thompson worked in the federal government for over a decade. In Congress, he worked for two leading Members of the House of Representatives and the Joint Economic Committee. During the George W. Bush administration, he served in the office of the Deputy Undersecretary for International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Labor. Since leaving government, Dr. Thompson has worked extensively as an editor, writer, political consultant, and government-relations expert. In 2013, he co-authored Margaret Thatcher on Leadership: Lessons for American Conservatives Today (Regnery).
