Lindsay M. Boyd is Director of Marketing and Communications at the Independent Institute. She received a Masters Certificate in public policy and B.A. in political science and classical history with a concentration in religious studies from the University of Tennessee.

Ms. Boyd has been Manager of New Media at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, Coalitions Manager and Associate Editor at Townhall.com, and Chief of Staff at the Freedom Alliance, and she has served with the Vie Abundante Childrens’ Mission in Niger, Africa.
